Tinubu's election will guarantee education, safety, and the economy – Buhari

In order to ensure that Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his party's presidential candidate, is elected in the upcoming general elections, President Muhammadu Buhari has urged eligible voters in Yobe and the northeastern part of the country to vote for him.

According to Mr. Femi Adesina, the president's spokesman, the president spoke on Tuesday at the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign rally in Damaturu, Yobe.

The president stated that supporting Tinubu and Kashim Shettima, his running mate, would ensure the continuation of the country's progress in the security, economy, and education sectors.

He claims that the APC-led government is more motivated than ever to defeat anyone who threatens Nigeria's unity after the region's victory against terrorists.

In Hausa, the president addressed the enormous crowd and described how Boko Haram destroyed the people, their property, and the economy before being eradicated by Nigerian security forces.

He emphasized the importance of education in combating the despicable Boko Haram ideology.

Make sure your children attend school and teach them that nothing you possess in this world can be taken away from you, with the exception of your knowledge.

I was orphaned; I had never met my father. I attended a boarding school for nine years before joining the Nigerian Army because of my education.

"I want you to grow in faith and do your best to support the children and family that God has given you." In Yobe, the president cautioned parents and guardians, "Do not betray that trust."

In the upcoming general elections, Buhari challenged the APC flagbearers to ensure good governance when elected and not disappoint the electorate.

He claims that the ruling party has done everything it can to advance Nigeria's progress, prosperity, and stability over the past eight years at the federal level.

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the APC's presidential candidate, urged Nigerians to reject the opposition parties' lies about the Buhari administration in his remarks.

He declared, "This government is a government of progress, honesty, and integrity."

The APC presidential candidate praised Buhari for restoring peace and normalcy to the northeast of the country and pledged that his administration would transform the area into Nigeria's agro-allied processing hub.

"We will provide you with reliable jobs of high quality." The agricultural sector will return. Hunger will end. He stated, "We will provide you with the necessary consumer credit to construct houses and roofs over your heads."

In addition, Tinubu stated that undergraduates would not be required to attend the university for additional years beyond the standard length of their courses of study and that he would end the ongoing ASUU strikes.

As a result, he pleaded with residents of Yobe and northeast Nigeria to support APC candidates in the general election, promising that the economy would flourish under his leadership.

Because President Buhari had performed admirably over the course of his seven and a half years in office, Ahmed Lawan, the President of the Senate, promised that the APC would win every seat in Yobe that could be contested.

"They should be ashamed of themselves and have no right to go around Nigeria seeking votes," he said, accusing the PDP of destroying Nigeria during its 16 years in power.

Lawan stated this at the presidential campaign rally, which was attended by all APC governors from the region. "We are all Buharists, and that Buharism – integrity and love for country – will continue when you (President Buhari) hand over to Asiwaju," he said.

The event was attended by, among others, Abdullahi Adamu, the party's National Chairman, Shettima, the Vice Presidential Candidate, and Simon Lalong, the Governor of Plateau State and Director General of the Presidential Campaign Council.
