2023: BVAS, an answer to election rigging - PDP

Sen. The Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), according to Walid Jibrin, Chairman of the Atiku/Ombugadu Campaign Council in Nasarawa State, is an answer to election rigging in 2023.

This was stated by Jibrin, a former Chairman of the BOT PDP, during the party's campaign in the state's Akwanga Local Government Area.

He claimed that BVAS would prevent electoral fraud in general elections and ensure that voters' votes would be counted.

As a result, the chairman urged voters to support Dr. David Ombugadu as governor of Nasarawa State, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as president of Nigeria, and all other PDP candidates in 2023.

He said that Atiku would save Nigeria from the many problems it faces right now.

“A vote for Ombugadu/Ohinoyi will bring rapid development throughout the state, and a vote for Atiku/Okowa will rescue Nigeria from its current difficulties.

He stated, "All of us will be able to enjoy the much-needed dividends of democracy if we vote for all of our PDP candidates."

Mr. Labaran Maku, the Director-General of the Atiku/Ombugadu Campaign Council in the state of Nasarawa, said that Nasarawa North is home to the PDP and that the region will deliver Atiku, Ombugadu, and all other PDP candidates by 2023.

If elected, Maku, a former Minister of Information from the Akwanga zone, stated that the PDP would combat insecurity and promote peace throughout the state and nation.

Additionally, the director-general urged those who have yet to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to do so in order to defeat the APC government at the state and national levels.

Sen. Suleiman Adoke and Alhaji Mohammed Jafar, a former Nasarawa/Toto Federal Constituency House of Representatives member, also stated that the BVAS would expel the APC government in 2023.

Additionally, they urged voters to cast ballots for Atiku Abubakar as president, David Ombugadu as state governor, and all other PDP flagbearers.

The former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Chief Mike Abdul, and the Chairman of the Nasarawa North PDP Zonal Committee, Chief Jacob Ali, both promised the PDP a significant number of votes in the state.

As a PDP enclave, they designated the Akwanga zone.

To reap the benefits of democracy, they urged voters to cast ballots for all PDP candidates in 2023.

While presenting party flags to zone candidates, the state PDP Chairman, Mr. Francis Orogu, stated that if given the mandate, the PDP would address insecurity and raise people's standard of living.

"It is time to transform APC; Because APC has failed us and continues to fail us, it is high time to demonstrate the way out of power.

"Many have left due to poverty, hunger, and insecurity. He stated, "It is time to say goodbye to APC."

If elected governor, Dr. David Ombugadu, the PDP candidate in the state, pledged to prioritize infrastructure, health, education, and security.

Ombugadu promised that the PDP would not fail the people and urged voters to have faith in the party.

Additionally, the PDP candidate for governor pledged to prioritize youth and women's empowerment.
