Adebowale
Adedayo, better known as Mr. Macaroni, a well-known comedian from Nigeria, has
advised young people against selling their Permanent Voters Cards and votes to
politicians who are "thieves and looters" because doing so will
result in four years of suffering.
The creator of the skit called
Nigerians in advance of the elections in 2023 and referred to politicians who
buy votes as "destroyers."
Macaroni stated, in a Tuesday
post via his Twitter handle, “Dear Nigerians, please let us sensitize
ourselves and our neighbours. Do not let anyone collect your PVC or take a
picture of it in exchange for money!!! That money won’t last 4 days. But the
suffering will last 4 years and more. Abeg.”
He also emphasized that any
politician who offers money in exchange for votes will not serve, that he will
ruin the nation, and that he will steal money from the national treasury that
belongs to the Nigerian people. They only make investments. They will plunder
the nation's treasury, which belongs to the people, if they are elected.
Do not cast your vote for
larceny and theft! He said, "They are destroyers."
Any Politician offering you money in exchange
for your vote is not going to serve you. They are only investing. If they get
into office, they will loot the Nation’s treasury which rightfully belongs to
the people.
Do not vote in thieves and looters!
They are destroyers.— MrMacaroni (@mrmacaronii)

Assembly.
